I believe I explained that the report indicated the lump is likely a Fibroadenoma which is a BENIGN breast tumor. These reports are filled with medical terms that are meant for another Dr.s interpretation. Since you say that you did see your Dr. I'm curious as to why you didn't ask her to explain your report and how it applies to your particular issue. You don't mention if you actually did have the FNAC that was advised by the Radiologist in the report that you posted. Please keep your appointment for the 1 month checkup that your Dr. has advised. Regards ...
Also from the time i noticed this lump almost over a year its size is same. Am really sorry for posting too many comments eagerly waiting for your valuable response.
Thanks...
Hi Japdip,
Cany you please respond to my question. Please dont mind.
Thanks for your valuable feedback. I visited the doctor and she asked me to re-visit after 1 month for a follow up check. In my previous concern I had asked what is the indication of vascularity seen and hypoechoic mean. Could you please explain me this in brief?
In the report the Radiologist states that the impression based on the Ultrasound is that the lump represents a Fibroadenoma which is a Benign breast tumor. I see nothing that indicates that this might be cancer. It is recommended for a further study to be 100% certain as to the nature of this lump. You should always speak to your Dr. for a complete explanation of your reports so that you understand what is being recommended and why. I'm wondering why you waited for 6 months before seeing your Dr. about this breast lump. Regards .....
