My husband felt a lump in my left breast few weeks ago. I went to see my doctor  and she felt it too. She refer me to a breast clinic. What will happens to me? I am starting to worrying. Because since last year my right under armpit swollen and pains. The swell does come and go. The doctor said it's muscle and nothing to worry about. But now my left breast found a lump but no pains. Why I didn't feel it in my left breast? Please the information that I need to know before I goes to a breast clinic... Thank you

Hello again..

I went to the Breast Clinic today... First Doctor checked my breast and was told she felt a lump in my breast and also my under armpit too... Then another doctor came along and checked too but he said don't think so. So I was sent to a mammogram. After a mammogram, I was told that my breast is fine.. and send me home. But I feel not satisfied because my husband, GP and first doctor felt there is a lump in my breast and my under armpit too. I was hoping to having Ultrasound but no no because mammogram came back clear.. But I know mammorgram is not 100 per cent accurate.. I am not happy... What should I do about?  Any advice.. please.... Thank you

Being referred to the Breast Clinic is absolutely the right thing to do at this point. No doubt you will have either a mammogram or Ultrasound ... maybe even both. These tests will give a better picture as to the cause of this lump. If the lump is determined to be a cyst you will know this after the Ultrasound. If the lump is somewhat questionable then some type of biopsy may be required. The lump may or may not be related to the swelling in your armpit that you mentioned. If you have any questions when you go to the Breast Clinic please don't hesitate to ask them .... every question or concern is important and they will have the answers.   Take care and keep us posted after your visit to the Clinic.    Regards .....
