Breast thickening

I had a chest CT as part of my breast cancer check-up from 41/2 yrs ago.  It showed a thichening just right of the areola.  My cancer was at 12 o'clock near the chest wall in the same breast.  Could this be breast cancer.

Thanks, doc is sending me for a biopsy.  It is not in area of original cancer.

Not necessarily ... this could be scar tissue. I'm sure if there was some concern your Dr. ordered some type of additional testing. I'm sure you will be informed if there is anything to worry about when your tests have been evaluated.  Regards ....
