Hello
I just want to know what this means on my mammogram results. Breast reveals mild proliferation of the fibroglandular tissues seen bilaterally. I had a lump removed several years ago on my right under arm(benine) and it seems to get swollen and at times it hurts. Should I insist on an ultra-sound? I can also feel a lump under the same under arm that I had surgery under do lumps come back?

How are you?The presence of fibroglandular tissue in the breast is a normal finding because this is the anatomy of breast tissue. It is the dense tissue that results in the light or white regions during mammograms.
I hope this helps. Take care and keep us posted.
