Help...I don't understand Dense Nodular Breasts.

Here is what the Mammo came back as results:

Bilateral nodular interminate nodules.
No dominate nodulars.
No suspcious calcifications.

And they've ordered an ultrasound and a digtial mammo...I'm scared..I had a biospy on the left breast of a complex cyst and it was B9, and they never checked the Right Breast.

What does all the lingo mean? Does anyone know?
Thank you and God Bless you all.

The additional ordered exams will no doubt clarify your situation ... evidently you have had cystic breast disease in the past and this may well be the same. Often with Fibrocystic Breast Disease the cysts or nodules occur more than once. The fact that no suspicious calcifications were seen is a good thing. Breast tissue is often quite dense and needs special testing to properly evaluate what is being seen on the films. Calm down now and get the Mammo and Ultrasound done before you worry too much. Kindest regards .....
