Invasice Mammary Carcinoma

Surgry was completed 2 weeks ago, what happens now ?

Dear Vin,I had invasive ductal carcinoma and after surgery I had to see (a month later) the surgeon, who told me exactly what to do next.Since I had clear margins, clear lymph nodes and was ER PR positive I had radiation first followed by medication called Arimidex.I really don't know if your case is similar to mine but your surgeon will see you soon and will tell you about the result of your surgery and what you'll have to do next.Keep positive because this helps a lot in the recovery.Wishing you the best.Sue.
