Itchy Breasts

Hi All!

I've noticed that the fast several months, 3-4 that my breasts will itch on and off and at no particular time during my period cycle.  My last annual was in March 2005 but I made an appt for next Thurs 01/31 to see my ob/gyn.  I was reading on line about itchy breasts and that it might be a sign of cancer.  Is this true?  I just have been thinking it's changes in my breast tissue or something.
What do you think?  I haven't changed any soaps, detergents, etc.  not putting lotions on my breasts either.

Hi,

What is your age?

This does not look like cancer but you are still doing good by getting a clinical examination got done.

You could be having an allegic reaction to something. Take some OTC antihistamine medications, apply calamine lotion and keep the area clean.

This should help with your symptoms.

Do let us know if you have any more doubts.

Hope this helps.

Good luck.
