I am having my last stage reconstruction in one week, replacing the chest expanders with silicone implants. I had a CBC done last week and my WBCWbc count count is only 3.5. This is still low and I completed my final chemo at the end of May. Is it commonCommon cold for blood counts to still be low after 5 months? Should I be concerned about that with surgery coming up? Thanks!
Although, the nurse will probably tell you to express your concerns to your surgeon.
