Hi,
How are you doing now?
Have you seen your doctor as yet? What has he/she advised?
Keep us posted and also let us know if you have any doubts.
Regards.
Personally, if you trust this other doc that doesn't take your insurance, fork over the money for your peace of mind and go see this doc. You can probably apply to the insurance yourself for some portion of refund based on their usual and customary fees.
Always better to go to someone you trust and know then wonder or not trust the dude you are with. Get thee a second opinion and write back.
Hoping it's nothing,
Lisa
PS...worst case, someone does a biopsy. Best case, your new doc says you have a fibroid lump and we'll just watch it. In that case, stop drinking caffeine, it aggrevates fibroids.
Hi,
Does the lump increase or decrease in size? Is it painful or tender?
Has a mammogram, and MRI been done? Since when have you noticed the lump?
You should talk to your doctor abut getting an MRI done so that any lesion missed due to the dense breast tissue seen in your age group could be picked up.
Have you noticed any abnormal features on breast self examination like skin changes, breast lump, nipple discharge , etc
Let us know about what your doctor or breast specialist advises.
Let us know if you have any other doubts and also about how you are doing.
