MRI or Ultrasound

MRI or Ultrasound

I have amorphous calcifications. Is an ultrasound (sonogram) a good alternative?

Hi,
Amorphous breast calcifications should be classified as "suspicious" and a biopsy is usually recommended.Other tests, like Ultrasound or MRI might or might not be useful if your Mammogram has detected these calcification.
Your doctor would be the best source in informing you what has to come next in your particular case.
Best wishes..and good luck.
