MRI

What is a 5 mm., well circumscribed oval progressively enhancing nodule on left breast?

Thanks - I'm glad to hear it's very small and smooth edges.  My doctor said to come back in 6 months for another MRI.

It means that you have a nodule, mass, lump (whatever term one chooses to use) that is oval in shape with smooth edges and is 5 millimeters in size; which is very small. I would think that on the strength of what you report a biopsy has been recommended.   Regards ...
