Mammogram
Hi,
I have had just had a mammogram last week, and I now have to go back for an ultrasound, I am worried but trying to be positive and taking each day as it comes.

There has been a finding, and it says moderately dense breast parenchyma bilaterally.
BI - RADS CATEGORY 0.

Im assuming its just a pecautionary measure.

Can somebody please put my mind at ease.

Thanks so much

I would agree with you...
You have fibrous breast density with makes the interpretation of a mammogram difficult. The ultrasound just gives the doctor a different type of image upon which to base an evaluation.
