Asymetrical breasts, L. 2 "cysts" 11oclock and lump

Went in for mammo- before leaving got another on left breast. Then ultrasound of left breast. That was three months ago.

A month ago, by examination, Dr. said he would refer to surgeon now or in a month. My husband had just been diagnosed with metatistic prostate cance and I needed time. I chose a month.

3 weeks later, saw Dr. and was referred to oncology surgeon.  Explained found 2 "cysts on left breast 11 oclock, and more ducts there and definately larger right breast. Dr. said 3 opinions are better than one.She said the left breast was definately dense. The referral said a lump.  I go Tuesday morn.

What is the significance of more ducts in one breast than the other? And there is a slight puckering around the left breast. Is that significant?

I am so sorry you and your husband are having to go through something like this at the same time. I would try not to worry to much about this until you know what the doctor says Tuesday because it may be something the doctor is able to work out so that you are able to take care of your husband and when he is better then you can have something done with what they find is wrong with your breast. I wish you the best and hope it is nothing serious to worry about. Maybe between now and Tuesday you and your husband will be able to come up with questions to ask your doctor. I wish you the best and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your husband. Let me know how things go if you don't mind.

I am not sure how we are going to do this. My husband starts radiation for prostate cancer in 3 weeks and has to go 5 days a week for 8 weeks. It has mestastisized.

How do two people in one family have problems at the same time, and have no other family in the state?

I really need some information on what I have been told. The difference between the two breast sizes and the lump in the other and the difference between "more ducts (or glands) in the left breast with the lummp. What does that mean?

I need to talk, we have to wait it out until Tuesday to find out. We didn't think of what to ask at the Doctors office becuase we are numb. This can't be happening.
