What can I expect?

I went for a mamagram today they saw two irregular shaped lumps in the same breast , then did a sonogram and want me to come back Tuesday for a Biopsy. What is the percentage or chances that I have cancer? I wish i didn't have to wait all weekend and then wait 5 days for the result!

Thanks for responding. I did'nt know to ask about a BIRADS and no ones there now on Saturday. I will keep just keep busy.
I fooled around with bioidentical hormes and an estrogen patch the last two years and I really regret it now. Also just allowing myself to let life stress me out over the last two years did not help.Hind sight is 20/20.

I'm afraid you will have to do like the rest of us have ... wait for your biopsy results. There is no way to tell the true nature of any finding without benefit of a biopsy. Was a BIRADS number mentioned in the reports ?? That might give a hint but only a hint. Percentages even when stated are so general that they rarely apply to any ONE specific situation. I will say that "irregular" isn't as positive as lumps that are well defined, round, oval or smooth but the irregularity also has many facets. It's a waiting game and there's no way around that ... hang in there and stay busy to make the time go faster.   Take care .....
