Odd Coloring of the Nipple

Hi, for the last week or so I have been having breast pain. When ever I move wrong they would hurt, and I felt more comfortable with a bra on most of the time. I noticed after getting out of the shower a couple days ago my nipples were a dark purple color, but by this time the pain had mostly gone away.
I'm 17, and on Depo Provera, I'm not sure if the shot has anything to do with this, but if it does it would be such a relief too know!

This could very well be related to a hormonal issue. You might ck. with your GYN regarding the changes you notice. I don't see any particular connection to Breast Cancer; especially at your age. Regards ....
