I'm not quite sure what you're referring to but I'm going to take a guess that it might have been a Papilloma. This is a tiny wart like growth that sometimes attaches itself to the duct. Most times they are benign but are usually removed surgically. You do have a strong family history of breast cancer so I hope that you are being followed closely when there is any issue concerning your breasts. Regards .....
yes that is the name they gave me, was not sure how it was spelled and could not find info on it. . The Dr. said it was radical in shape and it needed to come out before it turned into cancer. She said they did not see any cancer but would know more when they do the surgery. Yes it does run in our family, besides my sister and mother, my dad and all three of my brothers have had cancer in onr form or another along with my Grandparents on my mothers side. Thanks for the info.
I'm really sorry to hear about so many family members having cancer. I think you're wise to follow your doctor's advice and get this taken care of. I'm sure you'll continue to get regular screenings as often as recommended. While I sincerely hope that you remain cancer-free, if you did get it, it would be caught very early when it's highly treatable. I wish you all the best with your surgery and a speedy recovery.
