Possible Pimple on Nipple?

I was having a really soar nipple for a couple of days and realized this morning that there was an actual "bump" on my nipple. I nursed two children and the soarness was kind of the same feeling of soar nipples. I was looking at it and just with slight pressure it started to pop thick white stuff. I started to give more pressure and a very large amount of what I assume is puss came out. All of the puss is out now and then it was bleeding like a pimple on your face would. Should I be seen for this? This is the first time I have ever had this type of thing and am scared! My other nipple has no signs of any issues. I am not sure if this is a pimple or what. There was no smell to the puss.
Thanks!

Plz think seriously and do not wait any longer. You should go for a check up. Any unwanted discharge from the breast shouldn't be taken lightly.  Prevention is better than cure. ALL THE BEST.

Hi there,It is very possible that you had a pimple, like it can happen on any part of your body.Since you squeezed it and a lot of puss came out I presume that the pain must have subsided.I would try to disinfect it and apply some antibiotic cream. If the pain persist or if it start again to accumulate puss,I think you'd be better have it checked by your doctor who might want to prescribe a stronger antibiotic.Hope you'll feel better.

The skin on the breasts is the same as skin on any other part of the body and subject to the same problems. If this was an actual pimple on the surface of the nipple, and that's what it sounds like from your description, then I doubt that any treatment would be necessary. If the discharge of pus and the bleeding was from the nipple itself then I would advise you to ck. with your Dr.   Regards ...
