Is anyone out there walking in my shoes?   I'm not feeling very pretty these days and yes I do have a very loving partner

Hi,
The chemotherapeutic drugs are highly toxic drugs. Usually these drugs are given in cycles with 3-4 weeks interval between two cycles. This interval should help the patient in recovering from the insult to body during previous cycle. This is minimum time required by blood cells to recover.

Regarding the hair growth, it depends on individual person's response to these drugs. It may not to be possible to comment on time factor.

HI,
These side effects of chemotherapy are seen in most of the patients. What you need to do is eat well, include fresh fruits and vegetables in your daily diet. Drink plenty of water. A void alcohol and smoking. Take vitamin and mineral supplements including B complex and Zinc. Also, apply a good moisturiser or body oil twice daily. All these will help you with the side effects you are having. Breathing exercises and yoga also help.
