Let us know if you have any further doubts or queries.
Has she had any abnormal features on breast self examination like a breast lump, nipple discharge or skin changes , etc?
Microcalcifications are tiny deposits in the breast tissue.
The prognosis in cases is generally good , especially after appropraite treatment and regular follow ups with the breast specialist are advised. The exact life-span cannot be predicted.
Let us know if you have any other doubts and post us about how she is doing.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
