Should I be worried

I am 32 years of age with two kids age 1 and 3. I recently had a miscarriage one week and 2 days ago. Before the miscarriage I notice my breasts are sore and a bit painful. Also my left breast has got some hard lumps than the right breast. It's been over a week now since I misscarry and my breasts still has a bit of lumps mainly the left one and also watery and milky fluid comes out from both breast when I press my nipples.
Should I be worried?. Is this a sign? Please advice I'm getting worried. I had to book an appointment with the GP today to be seen on monday....someone please calm me down..

Hi,
Breast pain and lumpiness following a miscarriage is most likely related to pregnancy hormones still circulating through your system. Since this happened a little over a week ago, your body needs time to readjust.
Fluid discharge from the nipples (when squeezed) is normal and is rarely an indication of breast cancer. When nipples are squeezed, it increases the Prolactin hormone level in your body and the more you do that, the more the discharge will continue. So I would advise you not to squeeze your nipples so the discharge stops.
I am glad you’ll be seeing your Doctor soon for a professional opinion regarding your symptoms. Hopefully there won’t be anything there to worry about.
Best wishes…
