Swelled breast

I have a very large lump under my left breast. It's very painful but goes away and comes back. This has been going on for almost 2 years. Its so painful that it effects my arm movement. The most recent flair up is the worst. The nipple itself is swelled up. This never happened before and it is much more painful than any other time. I have recently lost my full-time job and am only working part-time with no insurence. Jobs are worse in my area than most places right now. I am hesitant to see a doctor but the pain is unbearable. It is red and very warm to the touch. What does this sound like to you?

You may have an infection, ron, and really need to see a medical professional. I know this is hard for you but it's really important. kat

I think you should have seen a Dr. about this a long time ago. If it comes and goes it may very well be a cyst but you need to be seen by the Dr. and have a clinical breast exam and probably also an Ultrasound. I just cannot understand how a person can have a breast lump for 2 years and never have it ck.d by a Dr. I would advise you to make an appointment soon to find out what is going on here. Regards ....
