Hi,
It would be best to get a clinical examination done for a possible diagnosis. Without the examination, the possible diagnosis are as listed above.
But to have a confirmed diagnosis you would have to get an appointment and let your physician have a look at it.
The further course of management can be decided only then.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
I noticed that they became slightly larger during my pregnancy. They do not change with my mentstrual cycle and I never took OCP's.
Hi,
The lumps you have developed in the axillae could be anything among these ---
Accessory breast tissue
lipoma
lymph nodes
normal breast tissue could some times be palpated as such
any breast lumps - fibroadenoma,
.
Have an surgical consultation at your conveinence
Hi,
The lumps definitely need to be investigated further as your mother tells you. As you mention they started since your teens have you noticed any change in size of the lumps during your menstrual cycle? Are you on OCP's? These could be lipomas, menstrual breast changes - cyclical, fibroadenomas and need to be investigated to establish the accurate diagnosis. It would be advisable to get a clinical evaluation and mammogram done. Goodluck.
