Ultrasound Interpretation Re: Lump in left breast

I just had an Ultrasound today and the test result said:

Sonomammoragpy shows normal fibrous and glandular echo pattern. Two small, well defined hypoechoic masses measuring 6x6x5 mm (3 o clock, zone A) and 6x7x6 mm (9 o clock, zone B) are seen in the right breast. A large anechoic cyst measuring 32x28x24 mm is seen in the left breast ( 1 o clock, zone A to C). No clustered calcificationsnoted. No dilated ducts nor enlarged nodes are seen.

IMPRESSION:  Two small hypoechoic masses with benign features, right breast. Hypoechoic solid nodules and/or cyst with low level internal echoes.
Large anechoic cyst with bening features, left breast.

What does it mean?

Hello again. The doctor did a needle aspiration to get sample for biopsy. We were both relieve that he got fluid instead. He told me to come back if it reoccur. If it does 3x, then that's the time we go for excision.

I really appreciate your help. Thank you very much.

None of the lesions are terribly large and you may be correct about your giving birth .... cysts are hormone related. Whether to surgically remove cysts or not depends on several factors ..... their size of course and whether they are just simple cysts or complex cysts. Removing them doesn't mean that you won't develop others. This should be discussed with your Physician and possibly also with a Breast Surgeon. The mention of NO calcifications, No dilated ducts and NO enlarged nodes would make me comfortable just keeping track of the lesions but leaving them alone for now. Please know that your own Physician may have a different "take" on the situationj; everyone has their own opinion and routine.    Take care ......

Thank you so much for telling me there is nothing to worry. I just can't wait for tomorrow for my Doctor to read this for me.

When i had it first checked, I was told we could do a biopsy right away to determine if its cancerous or not. Then i sought for second opinion. The second doctor asked me to have an ultrasound and prescribed me a Co-amoxicillin which i have to take 2x/day for 7 days. If i may add , i just gave birth 11 months ago (not sure if it has something to do with the lumps).

I just wanted to ask your opinion about this. If you were in my shoes, Would you go for an excision with the size of lumps found?

From the report it appears that these lesions are deemed to be benign findings; cysts or fibroadenomas. As a rule a BIRADS score is assigned to a study which indicates the need for any further investigation that might be appropriate. If not then a re-check recommendation is made (3 months, 6 months or 1 year) to track any changes that may occur in the lesions.Certainly nothing alarming is indicated by the report you quoted.     Regards .....
