What is the right medication for matastastics breast cancer

Good afternoon,

My mother was diagnosted with breast cancer. She have had the syrgery on December 2009. The syrgery was a mamektony. The oncologist had removed the hole breast. And the result of biopsy was: There was three mass. The first one is a carninomia ductal infiltative third grade. the second massis carninomia ductal infiltrativ second grade.
The hormonal result are ER + (> 95%) PR (0%) and HER2 "1+". and there was dedected 10 limfatic nodes  and only 2 of them were with metastase. Then after the syrgery she have done six cycles of chemiotherapy with endoxan and epirubicin, after the chemio she was treated with tamoxifen until January of this year. Than she had a back pain and after she done the shintigrafy of the bones the results were bone metastasis. The doctor treatetd her with radiotherapy (radiation on the pain zone), with zometa(vein infusion) and letrazole(tablets), but after she done the analysies the CA  15-3 was very high 321 and she made the CD SCAN with contrast were was detected a small metastasis on liver and now she is doing the chemiotherapy with TAXOTERE. The oncologist says she heve to do 4 cycles of chemiotherapy with TAXOTERE. Is this the right therapy and the right treatment for her in this stage of illnes or she must do something else. The chemiotheraphy gives any results in this stage of the malatie?? I am very upset and very preocupated about her health. And which are the possibilities for her now?? Please if someone can ask to me I will be very apreciated because I am very very anxious about her situation.Thank you in advance.

Actually this is the question you need to discuss with your Mother's Oncology Team. From what you have posted all the treatment she has received and will receive seems very appropriate for her condition. It appears to me that she is receiveing EXCELLENT medical care under the circumstances..she is also receiving tremendous support from you and this is VERY important in the treatment plan; keep up the good work. Kindest regards to you both.
