What is this lump

Okay I had a found a lump in my breast attached to the underneth of the skin of the areola about a year ago. It was the size of a bb and I honestly didnt think much of it as im 29 years old.  Well about 4 months ago I noticed that i was just getting bigger. So i made an appointment with the health clinic. They sent me to another doc who did an ultrasound which came back as NOT a cyst. So i got the core need biopsy a few months later by then it was the size of a gum ball. The biopsy results said not malignant not a cyst not an absess and not a fibroadenoma. Doc said it may be scar tissue... How would I have scar tissue there. and how come it keeps growing. Sometimes I notice it is a bit smaller then a bit bigger at times. It does not hurt or anything. But now after they biopsy and all came back as it did now the skin above the lump is peeling. almost like your skin would peel after being sunburnt.. Just in that spot. Right now the lump is about the size of a marble. Im confused. Should I get a second opinion? Could anyone explain to me what I should do if anything?

It popped. The lump popped and shot out a yellowish puss then lots of blood and now a day later just an amber colored fluid. Could I have actually had an absess for a year. Is this what it is? I know I need to go get antibiotics now but does this sound like an absess. Ive had it for a year and even had an ultra sound and a core needle biopsy and neither of them picked up on an absess. Any clues.

I tried to get a copy of the biopsy report from the doctor before I left the office the day I got the results but he would not give it to me. He said that the best way to get it would be to ask my pcp to ask for it. I mean it was right there in his hand. I didnt understand why he could not just make a copy of it. He said sometimes insurance wont pay for that. GEEZE. I just wanted a copy. He was not my pcp but he was a surgeon. Didnt say breast specialist but he was some sort of surgeon.  Yeah im def going to get another opinion. I just have to remind myself that Im young 29. and the odds are in my favor to not have bc. But in the same breath this is my body and something is going on with it so I have to find out what it is.  Thanks all

Make haste to get a second opinion at a breast cancer center by a reputable breast surgeon. ask for an mri or CAT scan. Bring with you any mammograms or films or biopsy reports you have had done. It is your right to get your medical records to take with you to the next doctor. Good luck.

If you are concerned, and it sounds as though you are, then by all means get a second opinion. I would suggest a Breast Specialist or Breast Surgeon. I would think the biopsy report should state a diagnosis and not just what it isn't. I really don't see how scar tissue could change in size the way you state this lump does. I can't say what it might be but if I had it I would keep investigating until I had an answer.   Good Luck and I'd be very interested in what you are able to find out about this mystery lump.
