breast reconstruction

Any thoughts on breast reconstruction following mastectomy.
Not sure whether to have reconstructive surgery or not.  Any thoughts on that or on the decision making process.

And whatever you do, don't get a TRAM. Leave the muscles where they belong. If you're in the USA go for a DIEP ... and go to the best. PM me if you want more info.

Hang in there, you'll get through this. And if you get reconstruction, you'll be rockin a new set of ta'tas :)

Treatment and surgeries aren't all that easy but they're doable. Chemo stinks but again, it's doable. Same goes for rads. My advice, if it's not too late to offer it is to choose surgeons with the best reputation for the type of surgery you're choosing for yourself. I hope my reconstruction posts helped you.

Best to you.
