benign papilloma

did a breast biopsy the other day; results today said the papilloma is benign in the left breast, but the mamogram (mammogram) last week said i have a duct papilloma on the right side.  my obgyn. said she would recomend having the papillomas removed.  she said it is not necessary tomorrow, but i should consult a surgeon.  what is your opinion, and what are the reocurrance chances?

When you have only one papilloma the chances of recurrance are less than if you have multiple findings. Since yours are in both breasts I'm not sure this would apply in your case. The removal isn't such a big deal but like your Dr. stated; it isn't necessary right away. I think I would probably opt for removal at some point though.  Regards ....
