bloody and clear discharge from nipple

by biochemi, Aug 18, 2009 07:54AM
had a bloody dicharge of about 2 drops from my right nipple a month ago. I also felt a lump which is kind of in a elonagted shape under the nipple and a small painful lump near the under arm. The Ultrasound report didn't confirm anything and the doctor has asked to have a follow up three months ultrasound again and to keep an eye on the discharge. Now its been like a month i didn't notice any spontaneous bloody discharge but two days ago (one day before the periods) there was very little clear watery discharge which was almost negligible. I can feel the elonagted lump under the nipple a bit more swollen. I also felt a continous pain in the lump under the arm this morning. I have an apointment with a breast surgeon in a couple of days but i am very much worried about the very slight discharge ( which i am not sure whether its a confirmed discharge but it looks like some clear water on the nipple) and pain in the breast. I have no breast cancer history and i am just 27 and unmarried. Can anyone tell how frequent and how much discharge is associated with a serious condition?
