cording?? and swoen lymph node

I was diagnosed with stage 1 bc 6/08.  I had a lump. and 3 lymph nodes removed.  I did 4 treatements of chemo+herceptin then finished the year of herceptin in 7/09.  I see my onc every 4 months.  Last visit was end of nov.  He does bood work and tumor markers a which came back normal. ast month i started having a pain in my shoulder and was told it was a pinched nerve.  Then the pain went down my arm to my elbow then my wrist.  Then i noticed some swelling under my arm and then i noticed a cord running from a swollen lymph node thru the arm pit...but it fees like some one is pulling it all the way down my arm.
So i called the dr and went in for a mammo.  Then the dr that read it did an u/s cause of a enlarged lymph node.  He said it worried him...
Now i am worried, i see my onc on Wed. but am freaking out.  Could the cording cause the enlarged lymph npde and swelling??  or does it sound like it could be cancer??

It certainly sounds like "cording" from the decsription but I'm not sure about the lymphnode. This could be connected and "cording" usually goes away in a few weeks or maybe even sooner. If the swelling is beyond the axillary area it could also be a Lymphedema issue. You are wise to see your Oncologist about this but I wouldn't get too "freaked out" just yet. The pinched nerve association with the pain is certainly possible too.    Regards ....
