You will also find that the less you move around the less fluid you will create and the more you move around the more fluid you accumulate.
Aspiration does not hurt. Let them take some out to relieve the swelling. Then relax and not overdo it. Be gentle with yourself.

The fluid will most likely be absorbed but it will take some time. It can also be drained OR the drain could be replaced if the fluid buildup continues. If it needs to be replaced it's a minor procedure that takes about 5 minutes using a local anesthesia. I would keep a close eye on the amount of swelling though; your Oncologist can monitor this.
