infection again

2 years past reconstructive surgery that included chemo radiation bilateral mastectomy started getting infection in the radiated breast.  I have had three infections in the last 6 months and they are getting worst and come on quickly and are taking longer to heal with antibotic.  Any advice would be apprecitated.

What type of reconstruction did you have? It could make a difference.

I can't think of any additional advice since you are obviously under the care of your Physician for these infections. I suppose you are being followed by your Oncologist and your Plastic Surgeon; if not you might ck. with either one of them to be sure about what is going on or what might be causing these recurrent infections. This could be due to the Radiation.   Regards ....
