itchy wheeping areola

I have had an oval shaped patch on my R areola for over two months that has not healed. It seems to operate in cycles.  It is dry and flaky for a few days and then wheepy and itchy for a few days and this cycle does not stop.  My nipple is not affected.  Any ideas on what this may be?  I got a biopsy last week and will get the results on Wednesday.  Hoping it is not pagets cause i am 30 years young.

I forgot to tell I 'm 31 years old.  The most important thing is early detection.  That's the key to survival, and a positive attitude.  Anyway, I hope you don't have to go through this.

I've read about pagets too.  I had breast cancer last year and went through surgery, chemo, radio and now on hormonal.  My right nipple is being itchy.  I hope too is just part of the procedures and not a recurrence.  I hope your is just a skin problems.

Best wishes.
