lump after breast biopsy

I had a breast biopsy about 2 weeks ago. The bruising is starting to disappear, but I have a very large hard mass where incision is. It is not hot or doesn't really hurt, except when I exercised. Is this normal? If so, how long before it goes away? Thanks in advance.

I'm experiencing the same problem.  I had a surgical biopsy 8 days ago and besides still being sore, I'm numb and have tingling under my arm. I had eight lymph nodes removed. I also have the hard (swollen)lump right by the incision.  I don't have a fever and it is not red, hot or oozing.  I'm rather nervous about this as I have never had surgery before and my surgeon did not tell me to expect these after-effects.  It's the week-end now but I will call him first thing Monday morning to make a follow up appointment.  My biopsies are all negative so I'm thrilled about that but I'm rather frustrated with this healing process.
I'm hoping by now you're symptoms have subsided and that you are healing well.

Hi - it sounds like you had a surgical biopsy and two weeks is really not enough time for healing.  I'd give it a few more weeks but obviously if it feels hot, looks red and sore or weepy, definitely have the doctor take a look - they should be able to squeeze you in.  You should probably have a postop visit anyway.
