lab results-help

hello all its been a while since ive written anything hope everyone is feeling well. I have a few questions if any one can help answer them i would be very happy. i just had a lump removed from my right breast and the lab report is a little confusing. It says fibrocystic changes with sclerosing lobular hyperplasia and apocrine metaplasia and lymphocyctic lobulitis. my question is; is sclerosing lobular hyperplasia the same thing as sclerosing adenosis and if it is what is the difference between atypia hyperplasia and normal hyperplasia. on the internet it said i have about 2x greather risk of getting breast cancer if its sclerosing adenosis. if any one knows anything about this or if they just want to say hi I would feel a lot better. Thank you.

Breast MRI is a valuable tool when dealing with dense breast tissue and is much more sensitive that either Mammogram or Ultrasound.  Kindest regards ....

Thank you for answering my question. i would also like to know if i should be worried about the lab report or if it is nothing of concern. i am a black women and read on the internet that it is harder to find cancer in our breast because the tissue is so dense( i have 38DD breast). My doctor wants to see me in 4 months but he never explained the lab report or anything to me. Thank you for listening.

Sclerosing is the hardening of tissue, especially due to overgrowth of firbrous tissue. Adenosis refers to any disease of an organ or gland; lymphatic glands especially. Hyperplasia is the overgrowth of cells but atypia indicates cells are present that you wouldn't normally expect to find in that area.   Regards ....
