pain 2-1/2 years after surgery

I had a mastectomy April of 2006. However, this morning I have had pain where I had the surgery and I would like to know why is this occuring after so much time has gone by. I took a darvacet for relief, however it took a while for it to kickin.

My house-mate had surgery about 20months ago and is having terrible pain in the incision area.

From time to time, I still get sharp pains near my mastectomy scars. Muscle spasms? Nerve misfires? I'm not sure why.

If it becomes frequent and bothersome, you should probably see your doctor.
