Hi.
The "goosebumps" you have noticed, are Montgomery glands that appear on the areola and are quite normal.
An inverted nipple can be a normal variation....However, if there is inversion of a previously non-inverted nipple that persists, that should raise a suspicion that there could be an underlying problem.
I would advise you a consult with your doctor to check your breast to better evaluate the nipple puckering.
Take care...
Hello,
This is Lila Ann and i am a 49 year old woman from Hawaii and i too also noticed on my right breast nipple on the side looks like a foldover skin like a pea size goosebumps is the best i can describe it i don't know what it could be but i have no symptoms such as bloody discharge, redness, swelling, itching notthing but i went to my OB-GYN and he wasn't there so my internest took a look at it and said it looks a little retracted an ordered a mammo i never had a mammo in my entire life and all i do is mope around the house worried sick! As for your question the small goosebumps are of no concern however u should keep a close eye on it! As for the indentation i would see a doctor immediately as that would be of concern o.k Please don't ignore the indentation i will pray for u and please keep us informed of your diagnosis.
