Hi i am woman suffering from recurrent fibroadenoma diagonized at the age of 30 .My age is 40 i have undergone mammography and surgical operation 4 years back from present age....Since from six months again there is a formation of lumps...So is it necessary again for surgical operation or any other alternative?? please help me regarding this issue
Fibroadenomas rarely only occur once ... no matter what the treatment, new ones are likely to form. The only other alternative is to just leave it alone, of course this is after a biopsy has determined that this is actually a Fibroadenoma. They are often not removed unless they become very large or are causing considerable discomfort. Regards ....
