worried about lump

Hello hope you don't mind me posting this on here, don't really know were else to post, hope its the right place to post?  Anway about 3 half weeks ago me & hubby were gettin passionate ( sorry tmi) but need to tell you because of my worry.Well after biting hard on my nipple, my right one more, i had to tell him to stop because he was hurting me, was being quite rough. Anyway i woke up the next morning to bruising to my right breast ^ it was quite tender. The bruising only started to fade a fews days ago, &  i was examining my breast last sunday ( this being the first day of my period too) & checking the fading briuse ( which has now gone) when i felt a small lump close to the nipple area that had been bitten, its strange as now i can only feel it when i'm leaning forward, if that makes sense, & it has not gottten any bigger. What i want to know is it possible for a lump to appear after this kind of trauma? Im going out of my mind with worry, as my mum died at just age 49 from breast cancer.
Im 44 & have 5 kids, & i've never suffered with breast lumps before , just breast tenderness when i'm on my period. Please anyone got any advice for me. Thankyou.

I am glad to hear that you are going to make an appt. with your doctor.

Meanwhile, keep in mind that most lumps turn out to be benign, and even if it should turn out to be something more concerning, you will no doubt have caught it at an early point, since you do breast exams.

Please let us know how things go when you see your doctor.

Hang in there,

Thankyou for your reply, i just wanted to say that i have no pain, i meant i can only feel the lump when i lean forward & i sorta grab my breast in my hand & examine it that way, Also i did examine my breast  a few days  after i had the passionate encounter coz of the bruising & did not feel any lump then. Well  i am gonna mqke an appointment on Monday with my doc, i'm just so worried my head is all over the place, its nearly 2am & i cannot sleep, once again thankyou...

A couple of possibilities:

It might be a small hematoma (bruise) inside the breast, that will take longer to reabsorb than the surface bruising. (If that's the case, the pain when you lean forward could be due to the  pressure of the breast tissue against the bruise.) Or it could be a small lump that was there before your passionate encounter, but you didn't notice it until you were checking the area closely due to the bruising. (This may not be the case if you regularly do breast exams, though.)

In any case, it would best to have this lump checked out by a doctor, esp. in light of your family history.

Best wishes...
