COVID-19 Lung Damage

What is the expectation of longer term lung damage after COVID-19?

My experience with the Hepatitis C has taught me a virus can leave its mark even after cured.

You are correct that Covid will permanently impair some people's lungs - RH heart failure could then be a result. I'm not up on the stats but I imagine someone will post about it.
