Do I have cancer??

So I found a lump, it's sort of under my armpit? I have no clue what it is, it's about the size of a ping pong ball and it's hard as a rock and it's hurting so bad I can't even put my arm down the entire way anymore, the hospital has an appointment but not until the 2nd of October, typically. My left breast has been aching like crazy and I have NO idea what's going on!?!?!?!?!?!

Hi, don't start looking for support groups yet, jeez, you have not even been diagnosed.  There are many things that can cause an enlarged lymph node besides cancer.  Try to relax and thing positively.  Maybe you can try to get into another doctor sooner?  If it is hurting really bad maybe even consider the ER.  I hope things work out good for you.  Shannon

What is wrong with suger? And soda? I stopped dairy, because of estrogen content. What else is there to eat? What is integrated approach? I was also in horrible pain, do not let doctors tell you that because of pain its nothing!!!! I had to wait 6 wks to get biopsy, because it was NOTHING. And it, of cause was agressive cancer. Good luck. Tx for websites Ann. Galina

Best bet, as soon as possible start talking to breast cancer support groups and survivors.  Check out some of the websites - there are many that are terrific.

If you are under 40, www.youngsurvival.org

You might consider stopping coffee, soda and sugar right now.

Good luck.  I am a 15 year survivor, there are many of us.  Think about complementary, integrated approaches.  Find a doctor you like and trust.
