Hyperhidrosis and frequent fevers in my mum with leukemia

by Reckless23, Aug 13, 2009 06:45AM
Hi there, my mum has had leaukemia (CML) for 6 years now. She takes 1 Imatinib Mesylate tablet daily (400mg) for the condition. Her blood counts are near about normal and she gets checked up frequently.

She is otherwise healthy, but suffers from excessive sweating. The condition is worsens in summers, in winters, though, not too noticeable. She also suffers from fever (100-102 if not treated) after some amount of physical activity particularly during summers.

I just wanted to ask, is this normal for a CML patient? And is there any way to get rid of the above two conditions?
