blocking clot after bladder resection

I'd be grateful to learn if anyone knows how to avoid blockage by a blood clot after a bladder resection.  Since having the resection a week ago I've had one secondary haemorrhage which seemed to produce the clot (?).   I had to be re-catheterised to let out the blood and the urine.  Before the secondary haemorrhage, the urine had run clear.  Might cranberry juice or aloe vera juice or some such thing help avoid another clot?  Many thanks for any help.
