hi and welcome, sorry to hear of kitty's problems....how much do you mean by a  tiny bit? How much does he weigh? cats need a certain amount of calories per day to survive.
Did the clinic give you instructions on how to assist feed by dropper? are you offering him wet food with water added to make it real easy for him to chew?
give us more information and I hope we can help with  some ideas...

hi i have tried wet food an a syringe cause he cant chew but that just falls out of his mouth an when i say tiny i mean he'd be lucky to get a half a tea spoon a day... he weighs maybe 4 kgs (before the accident)  his a slim cat to start with now he just looks like skin an bones an looks so weak.... the vets gave me there food from the clinic but he still cant eat it... it happened 5 days ago an he was on a drip for 2 days but they dont want me to bring him back for another 6 days

hi again wizza, that isn't nearly enough to keep your kitty well. he will continue to grow weaker and not thrive if you don't manage to get him to eat alot more.
Isn't the Vet clinic helping you out more with this???? that is very uncaring of them, they need to provide you with more support.
I will send you a page with a video on how to syringe feed just to see someone else doing it correctly so it won't spill out, perhaps your kitty isn't trying to swallow b/c maybe he is on a pain medication and his appetite is suffering or has he given up?
I hope this info helps you both....it is necessary to syringe feed every few hours if he is only taking that small of an amount each time...so he gets the equivalent of at min. 1 can per day.(2 if they are the small cans)
