Had my 6 month old cat spayed yesterday

She is doing great today but how long is it recommended to keep her from the dog? They are buddies and love to play but it gets rough and I don't want to hurt her sutures. They are internal but picture this, my dog is a 135lb lab and she is a 5 lb runt short hair. He has basically taken her in as his being she was only 5 weeks when we got her.

it takes 72 hours for the stitching to seal and usually a week to heal completely. So I would say a week to two weeks depending on how they play together. You can just keep her separated at night as well, or when you can't supervise.

Wait at least 10 days. Sutures should be almost dissolved by then.

That's what I was worried about, I am going to call the vet tomorrow as he knows them both and see what he says. They didn't think about that part I'm sure when we left

Aww that just sounds so adorable...but be cautious even fun play wth that much difference in size/weight can cause kitten some serious injuries.....I would not allow any contact until she is WELL heAled 10daays to two weeks...
