Blanket Burrowers

Any of your cats burrowers? I think it's kind of cute, especially when my cat cuddles up next to me and purrs.
(the downside is my allergies, but so far I've gotten by okay.

(pic coming soon with this post.)

That's like my cat. He uses his claws when he kneads...

Which is nice...until they decide to start *poking* your bare legs with thier claws. Which just goes to show a cat cannot leave well enough alone!!!

whenever my boyfriend takes a nap on the couch he usually has his knees up with a blanket over them.  Our kitties will fight it out to see who gets to take a nap with him in the "cat tent"

Heh heh...I had a cat who LVED to crawl into bags. So...

Naturally, I'd wait until he crawled in plastic bags...and hang him from a doorknob by the handles!!!

He'd then scrumble about in it until he got bored and ripped through the bottom. If I soft clawed him...I wonder if that would have made it more of a challenge??? :)

Mine love to get under the bottom sheet when you are making up a clean bed and turn upside down with their feet on the sheet, back on the mattress and run around like crazy burrowing moles - I run a pencil or pen along the sheet and they chase it.  Thank you soft paws, for making press on nails for kitties or my sheets would be in shreds!!!!

Ead-a-puss...heh heh...I love it. We've got a Bumperus Maiximus over here.

Okay, ALL cats do this, right?  You're making the bed, and you "billow out/flare" the blanket or sheet and they RUN under it as it comes down on the mattress. Thus defeating your attempts to make a nice neat bed. THEN you have to fight to pull the bloody cat out from under the sheet (they've suddenly become ungraceful and incompetent at getting about) and end up with a fur covered once clean balled up twisted sheet.

AAAARGH!!!

We don't have any "burrowers", and when I think about it, none of my kitties have ever been burrowers, but we have cats who just lose their everlovin' MINDS when they see a comforter or afghan come out.  As soon as you sit or lay on the couch with the blanket, they start to arrive, and they march up and down, softening up their spots, and then finally lay down to enjoy the blanket.  We have two who are droolers, who lay there and do "nee na nawn" (kneading) with their paws while drooling copious amounts of spit.  I've gotten to the point where I put down a towel to absorb the spit, otherwise they get the blanket wet!

Ed-A-Puss, the Siamese mix that I raised on a bottle, loves my hubby's sweaty T-shirts, and waits for him to come in from work and take the shirt off, and he'll roll around the floor with them in his paws, stuffing them into his mouth, just completely lost in his own little bliss.  Cats are SO STRANGE sometimes!  LOL!!!

I miss that. None of my kitties are "burrowus Battus's" as we call them (long story). It's great if they'll actually STAY STILL and not CHEW/ THUMP/ SCRATCH!!!

Does anyone have an armpit cat? This is a cat (usually kitten) that shoves it's nose/face abruptly into your armpit while saying;

"Armpit Please!!!"

I have a cat who does that. But she only does that during the day when no one's in the bed. I'll go in my room and see a lump under the blanket and know who it is! During the night, she does sleep right next to me but on top of the covers. I'm not sure why the difference but oh well, cats have their quirks too! :)
