Blood on my cats rectum

I just noticed for the first time that there is blood around my cats rectum and it looked like it had come from the rectum.
Cat details:
Female
2yr old
Spaded
Indoors
No change in diet
No change in environment
Behavior is normal
Second male cat in house - relationship is good

Any suggestions why this is happening?

It would be areal good idea to take a stool sample into yr Vet clinic to check for worms.....also if ur feeding a dry food change to grain FREE, preferably cans...but grains are the worse culprit for IBD bowel issues. I know every single time I give my one boy Sami a treat of one dry food he loves he gets loose stools with blood...

I think if the cat does not seem troubled, you might just watch and wait.  It is possibly a one-time thing.  But if you see a lot of blood, or blood in the stool in the cat box, then contact the vet.
