CATS musical and my cat's behavior

I found some cheap tickets at http://tixthis.com for a CATS musical. I went to the show and came home purchase a DVD at the show of that musical.
I put the show on the TV and my cat (sphinx) started to scratch the tv screen and started being really aggressive, like attacking the TV. I turned it off, she goes back to normal.  
Any idea what the heck is going on and why? I actually want to get a costume of a musical cat from the show and see how she responds.

She may absolutely hate the singing and the frantic activity. I'm pretty sure she doesn't think they look like cats since I sure didn't think so when I saw it LOL

Heh heh...I saw "Cats" like 14 times because I was dating one of the cast members from the chorus at one point. It was a little strange dating a "cat"... I should have known I'd end up working with kitties from that, I can't seem to get away from them!!!

Hey, you have more than me. But any number over 3 is alota cat in my book. 5 of our 6 are related too. The sick guy is still purring and every day can bug me enough to know he has more life to go. Changed the wet food from friskies to fancy feast and less barfing, only the sick guy now unless one of em overeats and you know how that goes.

Actually, we have our 4, and we have 6 right now who are waiting to be picked up (though we may hold two back a week or two, still jumpy).

I was referring to the musical CATS, how many times I've seen it, not how many cats I have...though there have been fourteen cats over here in dire emergency. I do NOT recommend it! Too much of a good thing and all!
