I took my cat to vet for a blood test and the results came in. The vet said that my cat tested positive for FCV (IFA). Is this disease curable? Is the same as FIP? Is this coronavirus?
Please kindly advise me what to do.
Thank you.

It sounds like he's in pain/distress. It's episodic and suggests some kind of serious system failure or imminent failure. Get him to a vet.
btw, purring can happen regardless of a cat's state of well being. It's associated with happiness, but they will do it when upset, in pain, or dying as well.
MY CAT IS ONLY 2 YEARS OLD.RECENTLY,HE HAS HAD THESE EPISODES WHERE HE PANTS WITH HIS MOUTH WIDE OPEN AND HIS EYES ARE TOTALLY DIALATED,HIS HEART BEATS VERY HARD AND FAST,AND HE DOESN'T RESPOND.THE FIRST TIME HE DID THIS,IT ONLY LASTED A FEW HOURS,THE NEXT TIME,IT LASTED OVERNIGHT AND HE URINATED ON HIMSELF.
NOW HE'S DOING IT AGAIN AND IT'S BEEN 2 DAYS.HE JUST LAYS THERE AND HARDLY RESPONDS BUT SOMETIMES HE DOES BECAUSE HE PURRS.
CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT THIS COULD BE?IS HE HAVING SEIZURES? ***@****

The above is a (www sight).
I'm giving you this link because they should be helpful for support as well as information.
I will say that many cats have this disease, it's common. Many of them also have long, happy productive lives. I have one who has fortunately been fairly asymptomatic so far. She's a big, healthy b*tchy girl. :)
I will say that if the folks at the site confirm it (and the vet), you may want to try taking kitty of the phenobarb. There is a chance that the seizures aren't a permanent condition and were a result of a "bout". But there are risks either way. Which is why i suggest this sight, for info and support.
good luck and let us know how it goes.
