Need Your Opinion On This!
This is my younger cat, Dillan. I took this shot just now. Just focus on his mane and look at all that hair missing from his neck.. I'd say he has a fungal infection. I am taking him (AND Abby) to the vet tomorrow. His overall body condition is excellent, not skinny, not fat, except for THIS now.
It looks like ringworm to me. We adopted a kitten once with ringworm. Looked just like that. It was VERY hard to get rid of and is VERY contagious. Good Luck!!!
The skin looks healthy; but ringworm doesn't always appear in its traditional way. Sometimes, hair loss is the only symptom. I'll post a different picture. But he is missing so much hair from the neck!!
I really didn't see anything on his neck! It looks like there's hair missing on his ear. I didn't see ring worm, or anything. I had a cat that had that once, and it looked like a perfectly round scabbed area. Maybe, I missed something. Can you get a close up shot?
