The bed thing happens from time to time with our cats. Usually it is connected to a change in routine that ticks the oldest female off - We have had to throw out down beds and comforters and really got tired of the expense. Our solution is to keep a sheet of plastic big enough to cover the top of the bed and put it over it when we know something is going to be different, like we are gone for a weekend or we have visitors or we foster another cat for a time. I know it is just a stop gap measure but they hate to jump up on plastic sheeting. After a while when things are back to normal we don't have to put the plastic over the bed during the day. Generally they won't go on the bed if you are in it. ;)   Oh, we also can't keep a mat down in the bathrooms because they seem to think it's fair game, just like leaving clothes or towells on the floor... cats are like that.

Well, I don't know if you saw, but I said you need to get that product "Nature's Miracle". It's a cleaning product for like $6 from a pet store used to clean up these messes. It's the same formula they use at morgues, so you KNOW it works! :)

Cats have superior smell sense, so he probably still smells it there. This product breaks down the enzymes totally so there's NO trace.

Otherwise, he could be acting out for some reason. Perhaps he feels threatened by your pregnancy? It's kind of like having a kid, you have to reassure them they AREN'T going to be replaced.
